We are a family and veteran owned Garden Center just 10 min outside Madison near Cottage Grove. Our Garden Center is laid out to offer customers an open, welcoming space to enjoy their plant selection. Our 6,000 sqft greenhouse and over 4,000 sqft of shade structure provides a comfortable environment for the plants and our customers.

We are committed to providing the highest quality, strongest, and healthiest certified organic plants available. It is our belief that if we make it easier for home gardeners to have success with their gardening experience, they are more likely to continue gardening – especially organically. That is why we use our own formulated growing mix, take extra measures to strengthen the plants, and provide support should any questions arise.

If we could convert more gardens to organic and help new gardeners get a great start, it would be a tremendous benefit to the environment we live in. That is why we are working hard to ensure you, the gardener, has success when you garden organically.

We have an extensive selection of Certified Organic and Organically Managed Plants. While a majority of our plants are certified organic, there are some varieties of flowers and berries that we are not able to certify. What makes us different from other Garden Centers offering these varieties is that we treat them exactly the same as our certified organic plants. They are planted in the same West Star media, watered without fertilizers or growth regulators, and managed without synthetic pesticides or herbicides.
